NEW NATO STRATEGY: EVEN TEMPORARY OCCUPATION OF THE BALTICS RULED OUT (18 04 2023)

Political strategic level

NATO changes its defence strategy. In the past, the theoretical possibility of an enemy temporarily occupying a part of the alliance until liberation was accepted. However, in the wake of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the world's most powerful alliance has decided to change its defence concept, with NATO now preparing to defend "every inch" of its territory from the first day of the attack, according to The New York Times.

This means that any manoeuvre by the enemy will be responded to immediately, and the number of troops along the alliance's eastern border is already being increased. NATO is no longer considering or calculating possible reactions from Moscow to the deployment of a military contingent. The forces needed on the eastern front to counter a possible offensive are being considered.

The Baltic countries are said to be responsible for the change in NATO strategy. Under the old concept, the liberation of occupied territories could take up to 180 days. However, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has said that an occupation by the Russian army for such a long time could result in the total destruction of any of the Baltic States. British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace made a similar assessment of NATO's old strategy, stating that in the event of an attack on Estonia, NATO "would not have to send tanks to Estonia for 60 days, because by that time Estonia would no longer exist".

It is possible that the Allies were also shocked by the horrific mass slaughter and destruction of cities by the Russian barbarians in Ukraine, and so decided to do everything possible to ensure that the murderers and rapists of Masovia would not dare to even think about any patch of NATO land.

Congratulations to all the citizens of Lithuania and its Baltic neighbours. This is an extremely important strategic decision for NATO. From today we are even safer. We warmly welcome the Estonian Prime Minister's initiative and call on our politicians to be more courageous in speaking out on NATO strategy and the Ukraine war. Lithuania could and must be a key player at this level. It would be good to stop sitting on the backbenches.

Yesterday, Russia blocked ship inspections in Turkish territorial waters for the second time. In this way, it is trying to interfere in Ukrainian ports and to dictate food policy to the whole world. Since November last year, the Russians have been sabotaging and delaying inspections under various pretexts, which has already reduced Ukrainian agricultural exports to world markets by 15-18 million tonnes. However, the situation has now deteriorated even further.

Slovakia has become the third European country to suspend imports of some Ukrainian agricultural products for fear that the surplus is depressing prices and endangering farmers, as Hungary has threatened to extend the ban on grain imports. Following the recent increase in the supply of cheap Ukrainian agricultural commodities, Polish and Hungarian officials have announced bans on imports of Ukrainian cereals to protect the interests of their farmers.

If an Eastern European villager is so careful to protect his ears from Ukrainian produce, he may later have to watch his manicured fields trampled on by the calicoes of a Russian marauder, and his daughter's head cut off by the toothless Afonia who raped her in the rye.

Sudan is wracked by clashes, and about a hundred civilians have already died. General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the Sudanese army chief, has ordered the disbanding of a paramilitary Janjaweed group that fought on behalf of the former Sudanese government. Meroe Gold, a subsidiary of the Wagner Group, operates in the country and exploits the country's gold wealth. Following US investigations and intervention, the company is being sanctioned for supporting Moscow's hostilities in Ukraine through the seizure of Sudanese assets.

Evidence gathered by CNN suggests that Russia colluded with Sudan's military leadership to allow billions of dollars of gold to bypass the Sudanese treasury and deprive the poverty-stricken country of hundreds of millions of state revenues. Russia is said to have provided powerful political and military support to the Sudanese military leadership, which is violently suppressing the country's democratic movement.

We will not be surprised if it turns out that the bloody slaughter in Sudan is being carried out with the knowledge of the Kremlin goblins.

The White House has stated that the leaked Pentagon documents on the Internet may have been forged. John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator at the National Security Council, said the documents could be forged because they present an incomplete picture that does not reflect the latest US intelligence.

Today, we live in a time when both the teenager and the minister, wearing tights with uncut price tags, are trying to make themselves known and satisfy their own vanity, while the brand developers and the media are trying to make sales. The victim in these games is, as always, the reader and the viewer.

Christoph Heusgen, head of the Munich Conference, said that the West was hesitant to support Ukraine. "The current level of incremental and hesitant military support will only lead to stalemate on the battlefield", he said. According to Heusgen, Russian dictator Putin has misjudged aspects of the war, relying on the strength of his own army, Chinese support, a weak Ukraine and a divided West. But the Munich Conference leader notes that Putin remains resolute and can win a debilitating war. The West must do everything it can to thwart these plans of the Kremlin tyrant.

Yesterday, Slovakia completed the transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. All of the 13 planes promised are already in Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the Slovak Ministry of Defence, Jaroslav Nagy.

These fighter jets are now critically needed by Ukraine. Only... Where has the Third World that you promised us, dear politicians who were going to prosecute us for warmongering, gone?

Russia's Führer Putin called the war against Ukraine 'an obvious priority' for the Russian army. He said this during a meeting with Russian Minister of War and Terror Sergei Shoigu. Putin and Shoigu also discussed the so-called surprise inspections in the Pacific Fleet. The Kremlin leader did not rule out the possibility that the fleet could be used in "conflicts".

Nothing. The Russian fleet is pathetic, the renewal was scheduled for 2026, but has now come to a complete standstill.

The spring recruiting begins in Moscow. Citizens will be informed via the Gosuslugi portal, SMS and telephone. On 11 April, the State Duma also adopted a law on electronic conscription. An electronic summons will be deemed to have been served as soon as it is published on a personal account. Thereafter, the conscript will not be allowed to leave the country until he has notified his arrival for military service. Those who "shirk" will also be deprived of the right to drive a car, register real estate and take out loans.

The spring draft started on 1 April and runs until 15 July. 147,000 people are expected to be conscripted, 12,500 more than during the 2022 spring conscription. According to the Kremlin's General Staff, 21 000 Russians have already been conscripted in the first two weeks.

Tactical level

Over the past day, Russian terrorists have launched 4 missile and 41 air strikes and 57 salvo missile attacks. The most intense attacks were carried out in the directions of Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka.

The Ukrainian Air Force conducted 12 strikes against the drizzle accumulation sites.

470 Drisks went to Kobzon and the total number of Russian casualties now exceeds 183.

"A Wagner mercenary, ex-convict Azamat Uldarov, confessed that those who invaded the towns of Soledar and Bakhmut were ordered to massacre the entire remaining population: pensioners, men, women and children. The killer said he had shot a five-year-old child himself with a control shot, and a month earlier up to 400 Ukrainians had been killed in the basement of a nine-storey house in Bakhmut. Another Wagner mercenary, Oleksiy Savichev, confessed to the brutal murder of 10 teenagers in Bakhmut. Former prisoners who were recruited into the Wagner group claim that the orders to shoot and kill Ukrainians were given to them personally by Yevgeniy Prigozhin, a war criminal and recidivist.

"Wagner mercenary Uldarov: "With this hand I carried out the order, killing children. According to the order. What did we do when we went to Soledar and Bakhmut... We were ordered to sweep everyone away and destroy them. We went and killed everybody - women, men, pensioners and children, especially the little ones - five-year-olds."

European civilisation is experiencing a poverty of spirit and a moral sunset: on one side of it, as the crowd fights for the rights of improperly caged chickens and the male generals tear themselves apart over the mobbing of women, on the other side of it children are being tortured and killed on a mass scale.

"They steal our children and kill them. How many more of these crimes are there? A nation of subhumans and murderers, the biological garbage of this world. One confession is not enough. There must be punishment. Strict and just," Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, reacted to the confessions of Russian criminals.
